The first issue of Valor pits our hero Griffon Caine against the evil sorcerer Bedlam Arcanum. Trainee Griffon, now only a Scout for the Imperial Army, intercepts a call for help intended for the King of Imperial City. Hoping to impress his superiors, Griffon takes it upon himself to answer the call. He will be forced to confront Bedlam Arcanum who plots to assassinate the king and take the Imperial Kingdom for himself.
